Control when to capture
Enable or disable VibeSell for each meeting. We only capture when you actively use the extension.
Delete transcripts anytime
Delete any meeting from the meeting detail page. Scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom and click Delete Meeting. No waiting period.
Automatic participant notification
VibeSell automatically announces in the meeting chat that the session is being transcribed after picking up its first insight.
Data export
Export all your data in portable format anytime. Contact jordan@vibesell.ai for data export requests.

For meeting organizers (your data)
Retention period: Duration of your active subscription
Purpose: Sales coaching, performance tracking, customer success analysis

Purpose: Provide coaching context and sales intelligence to the organizer

AI training (anonymized)
Scope: We use anonymized conversation patterns (with all names, companies, and identifying details removed) to improve our guidance engine and coaching quality
Anonymization: Your name, company, and identifying details completely removed
Re identification: Impossible once anonymized
Your rights: Deletion rights don’t apply (data is already anonymized)

Why this duration: Sales cycles often extend 12 to 24+ months. Coaching effectiveness requires tracking performance patterns over time. We retain data only while your account is active and delete everything when customers unsubscribe.
Frequently asked questions
Aren’t you recording calls without consent?
VibeSell transcribes meetings to text and may record call audio to improve our coaching engine. We do not store video. All participants are notified via in-meeting chat when VibeSell is active. Recordings are processed automatically — no humans listen to your calls.
How are you GDPR compliant?
We operate on transparency and participant rights: VibeSell automatically announces transcription in the meeting chat when it starts capturing. Participants can request deletion anytime (7 day response). Data is automatically deleted when the organizer’s account closes. Our processing is lawful under GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (contract performance) and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest for sales intelligence).
What about multi party consent laws (California, Texas)?
These laws generally cover audio recording, not text transcripts. Since we transcribe to text only (not recording or storing raw audio files), we’re typically not subject to two party consent laws. The organizer is a party to the call (automatic consent), and VibeSell announces transcription in the meeting chat, giving participants notice.
Can participants opt out or delete their data?
Yes. Email jordan@vibesell.ai with the meeting date and we’ll delete your data within 7 days. All participant data is also automatically deleted when the organizer’s account closes.
Who can see my transcript?
Only the meeting organizer (the VibeSell customer) can view transcripts in their VibeSell account. Participants cannot access the platform directly. We never share transcripts with third parties unless legally required or with explicit consent.
Do you use my data for AI training?
Yes. We use anonymized conversation patterns (with all names, companies, and identifying details removed) to continuously improve our guidance engine and coaching quality. This anonymized data cannot be traced back to you. You can opt out of anonymized data usage by contacting jordan@vibesell.ai.
How long do you keep transcripts?
We keep transcripts for the duration of the organizer’s active subscription. When they cancel, all data is deleted within 30 days. Participants can also request earlier deletion anytime (7 day response).
How does transcription work?
VibeSell transcribes meetings in real time to text only. We do not record or store audio files. All transcripts are text based and subject to the same retention period, deletion rights, and transparency standards outlined on this page.

Note on certifications: VibeSell is not yet SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certified. We are built on enterprise grade infrastructure (Supabase, AWS) with industry standard security practices. As we grow and serve more enterprise customers, we will pursue formal compliance certifications.
